Bird Nest Problems

You may think you have problems with birds nesting in your roof space, but spare a thought for the folks of Alcala de Henares, near Madrid.

The town is a Unesco World Heritage site and is the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, widely regarded as Spain’s greatest writer and author of Don Quixote.

It is a stunning place, as outlined in this Wikipedia article. They forgot to say, “Don’t go on Monday, the place is pretty much closed!”, but it was peaceful.

This is the birthplace of Catherine of Aragon and home to a fully functioning monastery. Clearly, this is a town that deserves some respect.

Look closely at the building and there is clearly something on the rooftop.

The town is home to something like 90 breeding pairs of white storks.
