Between Junctions 20 and 21 of the M1, there are 4 huge turbines on the east side of the motorway. (Thats the left hand side if you’re going towards That London).
This is one of the few views of these turbines that shows their true layout. Moving around the area, the turbines appear to alternate from being in a square, to a straight line and from some angles they even look like a three plus one!
I’ll add more pictures to this post as I take them, although the chances of getting clarity like this are a bit slim.
The picture shows Croft village in the foreground, Broughton Astley is the village in the middle ground, the white roofed buildings (centre, right) are Cottage Lane Industrial Estate.
The top of the picture shows, left to right, Ashby Magna (with Gilmorton church spire in the background), Dunton Bassett (with it’s church spire to the right of the turbines) and Leire village is just appearing on the right hand side.
